Pediatric Neurology

Blue Ridge Health is proud to be one of the sole providers of pediatric neurology in Western North Carolina.

Pediatric neurology is a specialty that focuses on nervous system disorders in infants, children, and adolescents. The most common of these disorders are epilepsy, developmental issues, and headaches, but our board-certified pediatric neurologists are experienced in diagnosing and treating a wide range of concerns, including seizures, movement disorders, behavioral disorders, and more.

Dr. Lisa Abraham

Dr. Abraham has been practicing medicine for 15 years. Originally from Upstate New York, she graduated from The State University of New York (SUNY) and completed her residency at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. She moved to the Asheville region of North Carolina in 2017. Dr. Abraham credits being a parent of two children in their teens as the foundation for her compassionate approach to patient care and the very special needs of child patients.

Leah Greer, PNP

Leah Greer is a North Carolina native who trained at both UNC Wilmington and UNC Chapel Hill. As a pediatric nurse practitioner, she provided acute care to children in a hospital setting before joining Blue Ridge Health. She has three children in their teens and says that her personal experience as a mother, along with her professional nursing experience, guides her interactions with each and every patient.
